Founded by Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem and Ramon Vilalta in 1988, RCR Arquitectes is based in Olot in Catalonia, Spain. Known for a grounded style that is rooted in and inspired by its local conditions, they were the laureates of the 2017 Pritzker Prize.

Carles Casamor is the head of Urban Design department in the Municipality of Barcelona, He invited us to the council to give us a lecture about the history of Barcelona regarding urban planning and design and how the city developed in the last 30 years .
The idea of the bike tour was to learn from Barcelona, as it is considered to be one of the best city when it comes to urban planning and public spaces. The best way to explore a city is by BIKE, the intention was to go through most of the public spaces in the city showing different qualities and how it works.
